The Safeguard app enables efficient communication between First Aiders and brings together all essential functions for effective incident response, including presence tracking, rapid alerting and direct communication channels. It is designed for straightforward implementation and provides a real-time dashboard for clear operational oversight. Security and UK data protection compliance are ensured at all times.

Push-to-talk

The Push-to-talk function enables all alerted responders to communicate with each other instantly. It is available both in the app on smartphones and through the dashboard on PCs or laptops. After an alert is triggered, users are automatically assigned to a dedicated push-to-talk channel, where they can see active participants and speak by holding down the talk button. This ensures fast, coordinated voice communication during critical moments.

Integrated chat

Within the Push-to-talk function, an integrated chat allows responders to exchange text messages and images, quote previous messages and use emojis, similar to familiar messaging apps. All chat histories are stored even after the incident has ended, ensuring a complete record of communication for review and documentation..

Bulletin board module

In addition to real-time communication via push-to-talk and chat during an incident, the Safeguard app also provides a bulletin board module. This space can be used to share general announcements, current updates or internal messages that are informational in nature and not time-critical.
